Spring is FINALLY here in the South, and what a blessing it is after a long, hard, dreary and COLD winter! I'm always AMAZED at how the beauty of all things green and colorful seems to be totally dead after the first frost, and there appears to be no hope of green again, when slowly but surely tiny tender leaves begin to peep through just above the surface! This is the color of HOPE and expectation...of renewal after a long winter's rest!! What a joy it is to see what was once dead coming back to life and to be reminded of God's perfect plan. It also helps me realize that just because something seems over, gone, sad, or finished, it doesn't mean that there's not something even better around the corner! What a perfect picture of our old life before Christ and of His life on earth before He arose forever more after the cross.
God has certainly been working with great purpose in Big Dream Ministries and has given us a RENEWED sense of excitement in our new study (and new name)! It's now called "Invincible Love, Invisible War...God's Plan to Win Your Battles!" The workbook is finished, and the filming is half done. Pat, Eleanor and I, along with many crew members took to the outdoors for location shots last week and were right in the midst of God's great, glorious springtime extravaganza! We were nervous, a bit anxious, at times tired, but all the while, rejoicing over His new adventure for us! I just love it when God SHOWS UP and SHOWS OFF in ways only He can.
Now it's time to prepare for the next stage of our joint production. We can definitely be encouraged by God's Word even though we may find ourselves in a battle! Happy Spring to all of you!! |
