What's New at Big Dream Ministries? by Linda Sweeney

Confirmation is always something I relish! Today I received an email from a friend that was a sweet encouragement about how women need other women in their lives! I find that to be VERY true, and it totally goes along with the thinking of The Big Dream team as we feel God leading us to a new and exciting study. "The Amazing Woman In YOU...The Bible Applied!!" Though the official title has not been settled upon, this will give you an idea of what we're thinking!

Having completed a seven-year study of God's Word prior to being involved with TAC, I saw clearly that I was supposed to take what I had learned and say to God "Now what would You have me do with what You've taught me?" I took a "graduate class" which challenged me with exactly that. For me, it was teaching and speaking. For others, it was something else entirely. God teaches us His Word through TAC. It is a truefoundation for all other Bible studies and for life as a Christian.

We were in a "brain-storming" meeting recently when the question "What does God want us to do next?" was tossed out! You can imagine what great discussion ensued! We've decided that He wants us to write a study on how to be an amazing woman after learning His amazing Word! In other words, He wants us to apply James 1:22, which commands that we be DOERS of The Word and not only hearers!

We are in the very early stages of this new project and are finding that it's going to be much harder than we first thought BECAUSE of how the "role of woman" has changed, been distorted, is viewed, etc. today! Our generation truly looks at things differently in light of our current culture! We have sent out a very "telling survey," and are now receiving the results! Some are expected; some are shocking (to us)!

Would you join us in praying for this new endeavor and ask God to clearly guide us EVERY step of the way? Pray that in doing this we would come up with His message to/for the women He has so uniquely created...that it would be AMAZING yet again?! We covet your prayers and thank you incredibly!
