What we believe and why we believe it

• The Bible is inspired (God-breathed) by God, written by men through the power of the Holy Spirit, and is infallible, true, and the full authority concerning God and His workings in the lives of men.

• The Bible is profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God might be equipped for every good work.

• All men have a sin nature that separates them from God. Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who has given His life as a blood sacrifice to redeem man so that man might be united with God as His adopted children. Only through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by works, may man be saved and experience regeneration through the Holy Spirit.

• God is three eternal persons in one; God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and The Holy Spirit.

• Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, fully man and fully God, lived on earth while teaching and performing many miracles, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and was buried. He arose on the third day, was seen by hundreds of people, ascended into heaven and sits on the right hand of God. He mediates for us now and will return in His glory and with power at the end of time.

• The Holy Spirit is continually working in the lives of regenerate men, teaching them to live holy lives and empowering them to serve God in a manner that will bring Him glory.

• All men are eternal creatures. Those who have faith in Jesus Christ will be resurrected to eternal life with God. Those who do not believe in Christ and have not received Him as their Savior will experience eternal damnation.
